Coalition forces hold fuel ship off Hodeida coasts

SANAA, June.05 (YPA) – The Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC) affirmed on Sunday the Saudi-led coalition forces seized an oil ship and prevented it from the arrival of Hodeida port, western Yemen.

Spokesman of the YPC, Issam al-Mutawakel, that the coalition detained the UN-permitted ship “Viviana” carrying 30,314 tons of diesel and prevented it from reaching the port, in a violation of the UN-sponsored humanitarian truce’s items regarding the entry of oil derivatives.

“The number of detained vessels are reaching 2 fuel vessels, all of which have been inspected and obtained UN permits,” he added.
