Industry Minister directs to take strict measures against fake companies

SANAA, June.04 (YPA) – Minister of Industry and Trade in Sanaa, Mohammed Sharaf Al-Mutahar, directed on Saturday to take strict measures against fake companies trying to exploit citizens and protect society from its illegal activities.

This came a meeting held to discuss the activity of the General Administration of Commercial Companies and the mechanisms for activating the legal role of the ministry of companies control.

The minister confirmed the necessity of internal control over companies, reviewing balance sheets and making legal notes.

He stressed the importance of obligating companies to provide the ministry with their balance sheets and to follow up on holding annual meetings of the boards of directors for legally defined companies.
