Southern politician accuses coalition of destroying Yemen south

ADEN, May 30 (YPA) – A politician and academic at the University of Aden accused the Saudi-UAE coalition of destroying the Yemen’s southern provinces.

The politician, Abd al-Rahman al-Wali, described the formation of the “military committee” announced by the Rashad Alimi Council to merge and form the so-called “National Army” as a conspiracy and farce by all standards.

He called for a southern side opposing to stand firmly against the coalition, in reference to the “Southern Transitional Council(STC) coalition’s relinquishment, which has become a tool for implementing its projects and greed in the southern provinces.

“The coalition is trying to bring the south and the southerners under its control, stressing that Aden is the biggest example of sabotage,” al-Wali added.
