IDLIB, May 28 (YPA) – A unit of the Syrian Arab Army operating in the southern countryside of Idlib shot down a drone launched by the terrorist organizations affiliated with the Turkish occupation over Ma’ardabssa, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported, citing a field source.
According to the source, an army unit dealt Friday evening with a hostile target in the airspace of the southern countryside of Idlib, shot it down in the Maardbissa village.
The source added that it was a drone sent by the terrorist mercenaries affiliated with the Turkish occupation to attack army posts and safe areas.
The drone is equipped with three cameras and several projectiles, he said.
