Tribal Cohesion Council condemns coalition’s crime of kidnapping of female journalist in Marib

SANAA, May 23 (YPA) – The Tribal Cohesion Council strongly condemned on Monday the crime of the kidnapping of female journalist Naziha Al-Junaid by Saudi-led coalition gunmen in Marib province.

In a statement, the council considered this crime added to the past crimes committed by the of the coalition militants against the journalists and citizens in the province.

The statement denounced the coalition’s failure to implement the terms of the UN-sponsored truce, and its continued exacerbation of the suffering of the Yemeni people as a result of its aggression and siege for more than seven years.

The council warned against the continued intransigence of the coalition and its tools with their continuous violations of the armistice.

It pointed out the importance of drawing lessons from the anniversary of Yemeni unity, May 22, in strengthening the values of pride, patriotism, brotherhood and national cohesion.
