UAE occupation adopts anti-Yemeni unity event in Socotra

SOCOTRA, May 20 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) has called on its supporters to stage  demonstrate tomorrow to demand the disengagement from Yemeni unity on the UAE-held island of Socotra.

The STC confirmed that it is preparing for the rally and gather tomorrow at Saad Ali Salemin Stadium in Hadibo city to revive the declaration of secession from unity in the 1994 summer war.

The STC has become a member of Riyadh’s declared presidential council and at the same time the separatists are supported and encouraged by Saudi Arabia and the UAE to declare secession in order to achieve its objectives of tearing Yemen apart.
