Land Transport Authority: Line extending from al-Mabrz, Jabal Rass to the district of Hays in Hodeidah opened

HODEIDAH, May 20 (YPA) – The General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs has affirmed that a line extending from al- Mabrz, Jabal Rass to the district of Hays in Yemen’s western province of Hodeidah, which is under control of the National Salvation Government is open and accessible for all passengers and citizens at any time.

In a statement, the authority condemned the harassment and difficulties encountered by travelers and citizens due to the failure of the Coalition’s  mercenaries to implement the humanitarian truce regarding  roads and outlets in the coalition-held areas, which constitutes an obstacle to the movement of passengers and citizens and commercial goods.

The coalition through its mercenary still continuing to disregard and procrastinate the implementation of the humanitarian truce regarding opening outlets announced by the United Nations in early April, according to the statement.

It pointed out that the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the National Salvation Government sought by every possible means to end the suffering and make concessions after concessions in opening the outlets, in order to facilitate movement of the citizens and travelers.

The Authority called on the United Nations to put  pressure on the coalition-backed government  to open roads and outlets and not to obstruct passers-by citizens, passengers and cargo trucks on the vital line linking  the province of Hodeidah with Taiz.
