President Al-Mashat calls on UN to oblige Coalition-backed government to pay salaries

SANAA, May 18 (YPA) – Mehdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council  has on Tuesday called on the United Nations  to  obliging the Saudi-led coalition-backed government to pay the salaries of all state employees in accordance with the Sweden agreement, and the continued looting of state revenues, such as crude oil and gas.

This came during his meeting with Minister of Civil Service and Insurance, Salim Mohammed Numan Al-Mughalis.

He meeting touched on the suffering of  state employees  that has been doing on for nearly six years as a result of the coalition and its mercenaries cutting their salaries.

President Al-Mashat listened to a brief explanation on the ministry’s tasks and reforms.

He directed all stakeholders to respond quickly to the reforms implemented by the Ministry of Civil Service and the implementation of the unified salary disclosure system without exception.

Al-Mashat praised the state employees who are committed to their work and their great efforts despite the difficulties and salary cuts due to the aggression and the brutal Us-Saudi blockade on our country.
