Hamdan tribes gather to renew steadfastness in facing coalition

SANAA, May 12 (YPA) – Tribes and sheikhs of Hamdan district of Sanaa province gathered on Thursday in a tribal rally to renew steadfastness in the face of Saudi-led coalition and defending the security and stability of the homeland.

The rally, the participants denounced the silence of the United Nations towards the violations of the coalition and it tools despite the announcement of the UN-sponsored armistice.

The tribes also condemned the coalition’s persistence in the daily violations of the truce and its failure to implement its provisions in ending the siege, opening Sanaa airport, Hodeida port that aims at the suffering of the Yemeni people.

They pointed to the importance of supporting public mobilization and embodying the responsibility to support “Yemen Hurricane” campaign and to confront with all responsibility the plans of the coalition countries and to miss the opportunity to penetrate the social fabric of the Yemeni people.

The rally affirmed that the systematic war crimes committed by the US-backed Saudi-UAE coalition against the Yemeni people and persistence in the siege will not subdue the Yemeni people under hegemony.
