OCCUPIED PALESTINE, May 12 (YPA) – Clashes broke out overnight between Palestinians and Zionist enemy forces in various areas of the occupied West Bank and al-Quds (Jerusalem).
Palestinian sources reported that resistance fighters opened fire at enemy forces at the separation wall in the village of Anin, west of Jenin.
In Bethlehem, Palestinians threw stones at settler vehicles in the town of Teqoa, east of city.
Youths also launched Molotov cocktails at the military tower at the entrance to the Al-Aroub refugee camp north of Hebron.
On Wednesday evening, a Palestinian was injured by enemy forces stationed at Alqatanin Gate, one of the gates of the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Lawyer Khaldoun Najm explained that the young man who was injured near al-Qatanin Gate was identified as Rami Mohammad Srour (24), from Nillin village west of Ramallah. His health is very serious, and is now lying in Hadassah Ein Karem hospital in occupied Jerusalem.
Clashes broke out with the Israeli occupying forces after they suppressed a march in the town of Beit Hanina in occupied al-Quds, denouncing the assassination of journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh.
