Military commander defects from coalition

HODEIDA, May 09 (YPA) – A military commander loyal to the Saudi-led coalition has defected from the Saudi-led coalition and arrived in Hodeida province.

The commander, Masoud Hassan Al-Muhajmi, returned to the ranks of the homeland party after defecting from the so-called “al-Amaliqa Brigade” of the coalition.

He was received by Hodeida governor Mohammed Qohim who praised Al-Muhajmi’s return to the homeland, after Al-Muhajmi revealed the coalition’s plans aiming to target the children and women of Yemen, destroy the infrastructure, plunder the nation’s resources and control its sovereign decision.

Qohim stressed the keenness of the revolutionary and political leadership to provide facilities for the returnees and to take advantage of the general amnesty decision and return to their families.
