Russian forces announce destruction of US weapons in Ukraine

MOSCOW, May 08 (YPA) – The Russian Ministry of Defense on Saturday announced the destruction of American and European weapons and equipment that reached Ukraine in the city of Kharkiv (northeast).

“Russia Today” website quoted Russian Defense Spokesman Igor Konashenkov as saying that during Saturday night, his country’s forces bombed 44 command centers and 196 strongholds of Ukrainian forces and the concentration areas of their soldiers and equipment.

He added that the Russian forces destroyed, with air strikes, weapons and equipment that arrived from the United States and Europe in the Kharkiv region, according the Russian website.
