Russia: Pentagon representatives involved in Ukraine’s biological weapons program

SANAA, May 03 (YPA) – Head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, revealed a number of the Pentagon representatives involved in Ukraine’s biological weapons program.

Bastrykin affirmed that “there are people from the US Department of Defense and US companies involved in the biological weapons program in Ukraine.

HE said in an interview with “Russia Today” TV: Analysis of the documents obtained allowed to accurately determine the circle of persons associated with military biological activities in Ukraine,” adding that Russian law enforcement officers are pursuing this open criminal case.

According to Bastrykin, the Commission of Inquiry found the US funding for biological programs in Ukraine has amounted to more than $224 million since 2005, within the framework of this project, in which Washington has modernized and re-equipped about 30 research institutions of the Ministry of Health and Agriculture of Ukraine in addition to many health facilities.

The statement affirmed also that the Russian investigation committee opened cases against 75 mercenaries from Britain, the United States, Norway, Canada, Georgia and other countries, participating in hostilities alongside Kyiv forces.
