Coalition violates UN-declared truce 117 times

PROVINCES, May 02 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries committed 117 violations of the UN-brokered humanitarian and military truce, during the past 24 hours, a military official said on late Sunday.

The official added that the aggression’s violations were represented in 50 flights of armed reconnaissance and espionage aircraft in the airspace of Hajjah, Jawf, Hodeidah, and Saada provinces and the fronts beyond the border.

He confirmed the monitoring of three violations by the mercenaries of the aggression by creating fortifications in Qestat al-Sudais, a-Sakina, and al-Diwan areas in Najran region.

The official indicated that 16 violations were recorded by artillery shelling, as four Katyusha rockets targeted the army and popular committee sites in Jawf.

He said the aggression mercenaries targeted the sites of the army and the popular committees in al-Madafen area in Saada and the sites of the heroes in Haradh and al-Mazraq aras in the Hajjah with artillery

The official added the aggression mercenaries hit the sites of the army and committees in al-Sarh, al-Bekaa and al-Majidat area on the fronts beyond the border, and the sites of the army forces and the popular committees in al-Khasf area in Jawf.

He confirmed that 48 violations were recorded by shooting at citizens’ homes, the sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Jawf, Saada, Hajjah, Dhalea and the border fronts.
