JMPs condemn coalition’s failure to adhere to armistice terms

SANAA, April 28 (YPA) – The Yemeni Joint Meeting Parties (JMPs) on Thursday condemned in the strongest terms the Saudi-led coalition’s procrastination in opening Sanaa International Airport and its failure to adhere to the terms of the armistice announced by the United Nations.

In a statement, issued on Thursday, the JMPs confirmed that the coalition’s failure to fully implement the terms of the armistice agreement, including the operation of flights to and from Sanaa airport, indicates that it is not serious about peace.

They called for reconsidering the position on the truce that was thwarted by the coalition, and for resuming the siege-breaking operations to break the siege in defense of the Yemeni people and their suffering.

In the statement, the JMPs urged their cadres, affiliates and the Yemeni people to a solemn and honorable participation in the International Quds Day rallies on Friday afternoon in the capital, Sanaa, and the provinces, in the squares to be determined by the organizing committee.
