Yemeni Parliament warns against suspicious movements of coalition tools in its name
SANAA, April 21 (YPA) – The Presidency of the Parliament in the Republic of Yemen on Wednesday denounced what it called “farce of swearing-in” held in Aden to recycle the tools of the Saudi-led coalition against Yemen.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the parliament presidency expressed its disapproval and condemnation of this farce, led by Saudi Arabia and America, through pushing its tools from those the parliament had previously voted to revoke the membership of a number of them, and so they no longer have any capacity to represent the Yemeni citizen.
The statement warned against any moves in the name of the Yemeni parliament that would compromise Yemeni sovereignty or justify and cover up the massacres and war crimes committed by “the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition countries with British-Zionist support.”
The Presidency of the Parliament expressed its thanks and appreciation to all members who are abroad and who did not attend and did not participate in this farce that was held in Aden province.
The statement pointed out that the Parliament in the Republic of Yemen, based in the capital, Sanaa, holds its sessions on a continuous basis and exercises its constitutional powers from its constitutional headquarters.
In its statement, the Parliament Presidency confirmed that it is following with great interest the initiative announced by the President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, regarding peace, and the subsequent announcement by the UN envoy to Yemen on a two-month armistice under UN auspices.
The presidency of the parliament added that that coincided with the so-called “Riyadh consultations outputs” and the illegal measures taken by the coalition countries to rearrange the conditions of mercenaries, and “this matter does not concern the Yemeni people.”
