Zionist settlers storm al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards for fourth day in row

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, April 20 (YPA) – Israeli occupation  forces stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday morning, for the fourth day in a row, to secure the Zionist  settlers’ mass incursions, called by the so-called “Temple Groups” on the grounds of the Temple Mount, on the occasion of Easter, which began last Friday morning and lasts until Thursday.

The occupation forces began evacuating al-Aqsa courtyards from residents and worshippers, erecting roadblocks and preventing citizens from reaching it.

The settlers broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque through  the Moroccan Gate (Bab al-Magharib), in the form of groups, carried out provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals in its squares, under the strict protection of the occupation police, who besieged worshippers in al-Aqsa chapels after they were closed.

The occupation forces also forcibly made residents and worshippers to leave the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque to secure the settlers’ incursion.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces erected checkpoints and roadblocks at the entrances to al-Aqsa and prevented access to it.

They besieged a number of worshippers inside the tribal chapel at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Sheikh Akrama Sabri, preacher of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, said: We fear that the occupation will allow settlers to enter offerings on Thursday.

Sabri added that  the occupation government meets the settlers’ demands because it is a fragile government.

On the other Hand, the Spokesman for the Israeli Prime Minister said: The allegations about bringing offerings into the Al-Aqsa Mosque were totally false and baseless.
