Meteorology expects heavy rainfall on several provinces

SANAA, April 17 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected rain of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, on several Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

The center indicated in an alert bulletin on Sunday, the rain would prevailed over extending parts of the provinces of Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, Bayda, Shabwa, and Hadramout.

The bulletin cautioned citizens in areas where rain expected to stay away from valleys and water ways during and after rain, calling on motorists to drive carefully on mountain roads and to take the necessary precautions against rockslides and a decrease in horizontal visibility.
