Yemen’s ambassador in Iran: Negotiations must be between Yemen and Saudi Arabia
SANAA, April 13 (YPA) – Yemen’s ambassador to Iran confirmed, on Tuesday, that negotiations must be first between Yemeni and Saudi Arabia, before going to the political process to return Yemen to its normal state.
In a statement to Almasirah TV, Ambassador Ibrahim Al-Dailami considered establishing ‘Council of Saudi-Emirati Agents’ as attempt to cover US-Saudi role in aggression.
Al-Dailami, mentioning Sayyed Nasrallah and Iranian position in Vienna, stressed that Yemen’s situation should be discussed with Salvation Government of Sana’a.
Regarding the meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building in Tehran, Ambassador Ibrahim Al-Daimli explained that they discussed with the Iranian side what has been achieved during the past period and the need to abide by the armistice from the United Nations and the countries of aggression. He added that truce may be a start to a cease-fire, complete lifting of siege, and end to occupation, if the US-Saudi side is sincere.
