Sanaa forces repel coalition’s military attack in Marib

MARIB, April 08 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces managed to thwart a major military attack carried out by the Saudi-led coalition towards areas in  Marib province.

A military source confirmed that the coalition militants violated the UN truce and carried out an infiltration attempts towards the army forces locations in the Wadi district that began at 1:37 a.m. Friday and lasted for hours.

The attack was accompanied by an intensive  flight of the coalition’s spy fighter aircrafts.

The source confirmed the coalition forces suffered heavy losses during the failed attack.

The same source stressed that the Yemeni army forces  are in high readiness to thwart all enemy plans.

The source held the coalition responsible for the consequences of its continued breach of the truce.
