Second gasoline ship arrives in Yemen’s Hodeidah port

SANAA, April 04 (YPA) – The Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC) has confirmed on Monday  the arrival of  the second gasoline ship, finally released after a 32-day detention by Saudi-led coalition forces, into Hodeidah port, western Yemen.

The official spokesman of the Yemeni oil company Essam al-Mutawakel confirmed the arrival of the emergency gasoline ship “Caesar” which docked at the port of Hodeidah after being held for 32 days. Two emergency gasoline ships are still being held by the coalition forces, but are supposed to be released soon under the terms of the UN-mediated ceasefire agreement.

Al-Mutawakel called on  the UN envoy to speed up the implementation of the declared truce agreement and move the rest of the ships to Hodeidah port to alleviate the fuel crisis.
