Coalition forces continue to violate armistice in Yemen for second day in row

PROVINCES, April 4 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition’s forces and its mercenaries continued to violate the humanitarian and military truce announced by the UN envoy to Yemen for the second day in a row.

A military source said that the coalition forces’ breaches were represented in the flights of warplanes in the airspace of the provinces of Jawf and Amran, and 62 flights of armed reconnaissance aircraft in the airspace of the provinces of Taiz, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Amran, Bayda and beyond the borders.

The source pointed out that five violations of the Apache and armed reconnaissance aircraft were monitored, as the Apache aircraft launched a raid on the army and popular committee sites in Al-Wajrah area in Najran region, while the armed reconnaissance plane launched eight raids on the homes of citizens and the sites of the army and the popular committees in Al-Barh and Al-Wazi’eyah in Taiz province,  and Al-Fakher and Bab-Ghaluq areas in Dhalea province.

According to the source, 36 artillery bombardments of the coalition mercenaries targeted the army and popular committees’ sites in Al-Akd in Marib province, Al-Emarah and Al-Tala’a in Al-Boqa’ and Al-Malahidh areas in Saada province, West Haradh in Hajjah province, and Bab Al-Ghalq in Dhalea province.

The coalition mercenaries also targeted, with intense artillery shelling, the positions of the army and the popular committees in Jizan and Najran.

The source confirmed that the coalition forces committed 52 breaches with heavy shooting on the properties of citizens and the sites of the army and the popular committees in the provinces of Hajjah, Saada, Taiz, Lahj, Dhalea, Bayda and fronts beyond the borders.
