Health Ministry condemns coalition’s strikes on health facilities in Hodeida
SANAA, March 27 (YPA) – The Ministry of Public Health and Population on Sunday condemned the bombing of health facilities in Hodeida province by the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition aircraft, which caused the injury of civilians and the destruction of health facilities.
The Ministry of Health denounced, in a statement issued today, the targeting of Mukrram health center on Kamaran Island by the coalition warplanes, which led to the injury of ten civilians in a preliminary statistic, and also bombing of the drug stores of “Al-Aqsa Hospital” in the July 7th neighborhood, which resulted in its destruction and damage to nearby civilian objects, including al-Tahrir Medical Center.
The Ministry considered this targeting a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law, which aggravates the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The statement held the United Nations and the Security Council fully responsible for the crimes of the coalition against Yemen, in the forefront of targeting health facilities because of their silence and repudiation of their duties.
