Yemenis to mark 7th anniversary of National Steadfastness Day on Saturday

SANAA, March 25 (YPA) – Yemeni people in the capital Sanaa and others provinces are preparing to take part in the mass rallies, which will be held on Saturday afternoon to mark the National steadfastness Day on 26 March .

The Yemeni Organizing Committee of Events has called on the Yemeni people to participate in the mass rallies to be held Saturday’s afternoon in Sanaa and other provinces to mark the seventh anniversary of Yemeni steadfastness in the face of the brutal US-backed Saudi-Emirati aggression.

The organizing committee has set the Bab al-Yemen Square in the capital Sanaa as a place for “National Steadfastness Day” rally and the Square west of Al-Thawra Park for the women’s march on Saturday afternoon.

The committee stressed the important of taking part in mass rallies at the level of the Secretariat of the Capital and the provinces, to commemorate the National Day of Steadfastness and the passage of seven years of resilience in the face of aggression.

Seven years ago, on March 26, 2015, the US-Saudi-UAE coalition declared war on Yemen and launched 274,243 raids targeting homes, schools, mosques, hospitals, roads, farms, factories, and government and private institutions.
