Iranian Foreign Ministry: Unity of Islamic world is essential to resolve crises
TEHRAN, March 23 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh on Wednesday said that “the unity of the Islamic world is essential for resolving crises from Yemen to Afghanistan.”
“I am pleased to have participated as a representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the 48th foreign ministers meeting of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Pakistan,” the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) quoted Khatibzadeh as saying on Twitter.
Khatibzadeh stressed the need for the unity of the Islamic world to resolve crises.
He added: “Palestine was and will remain the main priority for the Islamic world, and no one has the right to compromise on this issue with the racist Israeli entity.”
