Meteorology expects scattered showers within coming hours

SANAA, March 23 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology has expected scattered showers with thunderstorms in a number of provinces during the coming 24 hours.

The center said, in its weather bulletin, that the scattered rain would fall on the mountainous range from the provinces of Saada to Taiz, Ibb Shabwa and Bayda.

It called on citizens in the mountainous heights and the interior hilltops not to be in the streams of torrents and valleys during and after the rainfall.

The center cautioned motorists to drive carefully on mountainous roads to avoid low horizontal visibility and fog.
