SANAA, March 22 (YPA) – The Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC) confirmed on Monday Saudi-led aggression seized the second emergency fuel ship bounded for Hodeidah port.
“To further tighten the noose around the Yemeni people, Saudi-led aggression detained the second emergency ship ‘Sea Door,’ despite being searched and have obtained entry permits from the UN,” The company’s official spokesman, Issam Al-Mutawakel, said.
He pointed out that the detention of the ship clearly ignored the suffering experienced by the Yemeni people due to the lack of fuel, pointing out that the number of detained ships rose to three ships, including two fuel ships.
The Company also confirmed that the US-Saudi aggression continues to piracy operations of fuel tankers.
A fuel crisis afflicts all Yemeni governorates, as a result of the practices and procedures of the Saudi-Emirati coalition and the pro-aggression government.
