President Al-Mashat: We will not stand idly by against siege, response is inevitable
SANAA, March 19 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Saturday affirmed that the Yemeni people would not stand idly by towards the siege of the Saudi-led coalition forces, and “the response is inevitable.”
“The Yemeni people know who is behind their suffering and who is besieging and assaulting them,” President Al-Mashat said while chairing a meeting of the National Salvation Government in Sanaa.
He confirmed that the conspiracy that the enemy arranged in the last stage and the current situation was within the framework of aggression in which the most heinous crimes and the most severe crimes were committed.
President Al-Mashat added that the coalition added to the siege and aggression a scheme to stir up chaos and lawlessness from the inside.
He referred that the aggression coalition forces had prepared a plan to target the people with car bombs, explosions, and mass killings, but the awareness of the Yemeni people and the vigilance of the security services and state institutions prevented that.
President Al-Mashat pointed out that the American and British are behind this conspiracy that targets the Yemeni people, while the Saudi and Emirati roles and the hypocrites of the internal traitors are only executors.
Regarding the so-called Riyadh consultations conference, President Al-Mashat said that it has the title of peace and its interior is more aggression and a tighter siege on the Yemeni people, and everyone in the state institutions should know this.
“They seek, behind this conference, or the so-called consultations, to unite and unite the fronts of the hypocrites, the failed traitors, only,” he said.
President Al-Mashat wondered by saying, “Whoever wants peace, the premises for peace are clear, so why are you calling for peace consultations while you are practicing the mass murder of our people?.. And what is peace if the human side is not on its premises?”
“The deaf and dumb world must hear the voice of our people before they hear their roar,” the President said.
The President called on the Yemeni people to benefit from the rainy season and to help the Agricultural Committee in its programs.
He pointed out that he directed the government to quickly pay half of the salary to all employees of state institutions, and directed the Zakat Authority to expedite the provision of aid to one million poor people before the holy month of Ramadan.
President Al-Mashat concluded his speech with saluting all state employees for their work despite all odds and challenges, as well as the security establishment, the army, and the popular committees on all fronts.
