Paris calls for signing “proposed” understanding to revive Iran nuclear deal

SANAA, March 16 (YPA) – France called on all parties concerned to sign the proposed understanding currently on the table in Vienna to revive the Iran nuclear agreement.

“There is an urgent need to conclude” the agreement, a French Foreign Ministry spokesman said, at a time when Iran is getting closer every day to having the ability to build an atomic bomb.

He affirmed that the call came after the guarantees granted to Russia regarding its cooperation with Tehran.

On Tuesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed that the ongoing talks in Vienna on resuming the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action for Iran’s nuclear program entered the final stage.

Meanwhile, Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, stressed that the completion of the Vienna negotiations on returning to the Iranian nuclear agreement does not depend on Moscow alone.
