HADRAMOUT, March 16 (YPA) – So-called “Hadrami uprising” announced it would stage two protest rallies on Thursday in the cities of Seiyun and Mukalla, in the oil province of Hadramout.
The head of the uprising in the Al-Ayoun area, Saleh bin Hariz, confirmed in a statement that the rallies came as a rejection of the dose of the new pricing in oil derivatives, in addition to the failure of the local authorities to respond to the demands of the people of Hadramout.
The statement rejected the dose approved by the “Saudi-backed exiled Hadi government” in raising the price of oil derivatives and foodstuffs, which will aim at increasing the suffering of citizens.
It called on all the people of the province to gather on Thursday in front of Al-Burj Hospital in Mukalla, and Sultan Palace Square in Seiyun to express their rejection of all these arbitrary measures against citizens.
