SANAA, March 10 (YPA) – The terrorist organization “ISIS” has on Thursday announced the killing of its leader, Abu Ibrahim Al-Hashemi Al-Quraishi, and the appointment of Abu Al-Hassan Al-Hashimi Al-Quraishi as his successor.
It is noteworthy that US President Joe Biden said last February that the leader of the Islamic State, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashemi al-Quraishi, had been killed during the American operation in northwest Syria.
The liquidation of Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurashi came at a time when ISIS is trying to re-emerge with a series of attacks in the region, including an attack late last month to seize a prison in northeastern Syria that holds at least 3,000 ISIS detainees.
