FM meets with UNHCR’s Goodwill Ambassador “Angelina Jolie” in Sanaa

SANAA, March 08 (YPA) – The Foreign Minister of the National Salvation Government, Hisham Sharaf, met on Tuesday in the capital Sanaa with the Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Angelina Jolie, who is currently visiting Yemen.

In the meeting, Sharaf welcomed Jolie and the accompanying delegation in Sanaa, and stressed the importance of the visit to highlight the grievance of the Yemeni people, who have been subjected to aggression and siege for seven years.

The Foreign Minister noted that there are those who want this war to be forgotten despite all the injustice and suffering experienced by the Yemeni people.
