4 STC militants kidnapped in Shabwa

SHABWA, March 08 (YPA) – Four members of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia were kidnapped on Tuesday in Shabwa province, eastern Yemen, local sources reported.

The sources stated that security forces of the so-called “Tariq Afash” factions kidnapped the STC militants, who are from Shabwa, after they returned to Ataq city coming from Aden city.

The sources added that this operation coincides with the kidnapping of one of “Al-Amaliqa brigades” affiliates, south of Shabwa, while trying to enter Abyan province.
