Israeli occupation forces arrest 20 Palestinians from West Bank

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, March 07 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces launched, at dawn Monday, a massive campaign of arrests in the occupied West Bank, targeting young people and freed prisoners.

Palestinian sources said that the occupation forces stormed the city of Ramallah and arrested two young men and two freed prisoners after storming their homes and destroying their contents.

In Qalqilya, the occupation forces arrested nine Palestinians, including four boys, with their parents, from their homes after raiding them and tampering with their contents, while other forces of the enemy stormed the Al-Silat Al-Harithiya town in Jenin and arrested a young man from his home.

A special force of the occupation army also arrested a young man from Nour Shams camp, east of Tulkarm, while the enemy forces stormed the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, and arrested three young men from their homes.

The occupation forces also arrested a young man from Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and a young man from Al-Tur town in Jerusalem.

In Nablus, resistance fighters opened fire at the military point on Gerizim Mount in Nablus, a few hours after shooting at the Beit Furik military checkpoint east of Nablus.

A periodic Palestinian report monitored a noticeable rise in the acts of resistance against the Israeli enemy in the West Bank and occupied Quds during the month of February, which varied between shootings, armed clashes and throwing stones and Molotov cocktails.
