2 local officials wounded due to mine explosion in Hodeida
HODEIDA, March 01 (YPA) – Assistant Undersecretary of Hodeida province, Ali Al-Kabari, and Deputy Director of the Executive Center Branch for Mine Action, Yahya Saber, were injured on Tuesday by the explosion of a mine left behind by the Saudi-led coalition forces.
Local sources reported that Al-Kabari and Saber were injured as a result of the mine explosion while they were handing over citizens’ properties in the area around Al-Gharassy tour in Hodeida and they were taken to a hospital in the city, local sources said.
The sources added that one of Al-Kabari’s escorts was slightly injured in the explosion.
