1 killed, 14 injured in Las Vegas hookah lounge shooting

SANAA, Feb. 27 (YPA) – At least one person was killed and 14 others injured Saturday in a shooting at at a Las Vegas hookah lounge early Saturday, authorities said.

The Associated Press quoted city police captain Dore Corinne as saying that an exchange of fire took place during a ceremony in the lounge following a fight between two people that killed one person and injured 14 others, two of them seriously.

He added that an investigation is still under way to determine the types of weapons used in the shooting, pointing out that the authorities have not been able to arrest anyone.

The United States is witnessing repeated shootings as violence and extremism dominate American society.
