Video footage shows wreckage of US-made ScanEagle drone in Marib

SANAA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – The military media of the Yemeni Armed Forces has released video footage showing the wreckage of a US-made ScanEagle drone spy aircraft belonging to Saudi-led coalition, that was shot down by Yemeni air defences over the airspace of Marib province.

On Friday, Army spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, affirmed that the air defences were able to down a US ScanEagle spy drone, operated by the Saudi Air Forces, while it was carrying out hostile actions over the airspace of al-Jubah district on Friday.

He confirmed that the plane was shot down with a suitable weapon, without giving further details.
