Armed confrontations in Aden leave dead, wounded

ADEN, Feb. 26 (YPA) – A person was killed and another wounded in violent clashes between members of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia in the center of Aden city, southern Yemen, local sources reported on Saturday.

The sources indicated that the clashes that erupted between members of the STC militia yesterday evening, Friday, led to the killing of a person called Ammar al-Nini and another in Tawahi area, against the backdrop of previous disputes between them.

The city of Aden has witnessed security chaos since the Saudi-led coalition took control of the city in mid-2015.
