Military media releases scenes of wreckage of US drone place in Jawf

SANAA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – The military media of the Yemeni has released video footage showing the wreckage of a highly advanced US-made “MQ-9” spy aircraft belonging to the coalition, that was down by Yemeni air defences over the airspace of Jawf province.

On Friday, The Yemeni Army spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, confirmed that the air defences managed to bring down an American MQ-9 military drone, operated by United Arab Emirates Air Force, while it was carrying out hostile actions  over the airspace of Jawf province.

He said the drone was down by a locally-made surface-to-air missile of a type which has not yet been revealed to the public.
