UAE inaugurates first steps of dividing Yemen

SHABWA, Feb. 24 (YPA) – Militants of the so-called al-Amaliqa forces backed by the UAE have started to build a fence separating the district of Ayn in Shabwa adjacent to Harib district in Marib province.

Some media outlets of the Saudi-led coalition forces circulated pictures showing to install the separation fence on a wide extension in Ayn district adjacent to the Harib district of Marib.

This step came within the framework of the UAE’s efforts to separate southern Yemen from its north, and declare a loyal state in southern Yemen by supporting and adopting separatist factions, including the “Southern Transitional Council militias.”
