Al-Arada requests four million dollars to re-operate Marib’s gas station

MARIB, Feb. 23 (YPA) – Marib governor, Sultan Al-Arada appointed by the Saudi-led coalition has requested four million dollars from Hadi government, in exchange for the maintenance of Marib station, well-informed sources reported on Wednesday

According to the sources, Al-Arada had earlier turned off the station in conjunction with the intensification of differences over Marib’s oil and gas revenues.

Observers believe that the move aimed at pressuring the Hadi government to distract it from demanding Marib’s oil and gas revenues, which go to the pockets of Al-Arada and the islah militants who control the province.
