HAJJAH, Feb. 23 (YPA) – The Yemeni army repelled an attack waged carried out by the Saudi-led coalition towards the city of Haradh in Hajjah province, north of Yemen.
Local sources said dozens of coalition’s recruits were killed and wounded in the attack backed by the coalition warplanes, when they tried to advance towards the eastern outskirts of the Haradh district.
The sources affirmed that the Sanaa forces lured the recruits of the “Fifth Military Region” led by Major General Yahya Salah, loyal to the coalition, which to heavy losses of the coalition.
Additionally, those forces carried out a raid to hunt down the rest of the coalition recruits fleeing from Haradh towards the Saudi camps in al-Nar Mountains and the desert of al-Baqa.
