Hamas: Gantz’s statements confirm futility of betting on negotiations

SANAA, Feb. 21 (YPA) – Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) considered that the statements made by minister of defense of the Israeli entity Benny Gantz in Munich confirming the absurdity of betting on negotiations, for the rights of the Palestinian people.

“News Agency of Palestine Now” quoted, Abd al-Latif al-Qanu, the spokesman for “Hamas on Monday, as saying: “The statements of the Zionist Defense Minister Gantz at the Munich Conference, made clear their refusal to establish a Palestinian state and to reveal again the reality of this enemy, which is based on falsifying the facts of history, its robbery of the rights of our Palestinian people, and the practice of terrorism and racism against it.”

al-Qanu pointed out that Gantz’s statements came after his “intimate” meeting with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, indicating that they constituted “a new blow to the Oslo team agreement, which is still betting on absurd negotiations.”
