PM confirms state’s keenness to encourage investment

SANAA, Feb. 20 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor affirmed on Sunday the state’s keenness to enhance all factors and environments that encourage investment and to address the problems that investment activities may face.

This came during his presiding over the meeting of the Higher Preparatory Committee for the Investment Conference to discuss the final preparations for the conference.

At the meeting, the Prime Minister urged the completion of all steps and preparatory arrangements for the conference in order to be approved at the next meeting.

He pointed to the importance of the Shura Council’s contribution to the conference’s work and benefiting from the cumulative experiences of its members in the economic and investment aspects.

The meeting approved the formation of three special committees: organizational, media and security, as well as quickly setting the main agenda for the conference’s activities.
