Several people killed in Somali explosion

MOGADISHU, Feb. 10  (YPA) -Several people were killed and wounded in a suicide bombing in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu on Thursday, Somali police reported.

Local media quoted police as saying that a when a suicide bomber blew himself up at a busy intersection in central Mogadishu near the presidential palace and a polling station.

This comes a day after a suicide bomber blew himself up in restaurant in the northeastern Somali commercial city of Bosaso , leaving at least four dead and seven injured.
