Washington, NATO confirm continued dialogue with Moscow to de-escalate Ukraine

SANAA, Feb. 09 (YPA) – The United States and NATO have reaffirmed their commitment to continue dialogue with Russia to find a diplomatic path to de-escalation on Ukraine.

This came during a phone call between US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan spoke today with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg

“Sullivan and Stoltenberg discussed common concerns about Russia’s strengthening of its forces along the Ukrainian border and stressed a commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” according to a statement issued by the Press Office of the US National Security Adviser.

They expressed their readiness to continue dialogue with Russia to find a diplomatic path to de-escalation on Ukraine, the statement added.
