Aden’s power stations go out of service

ADEN, Feb. 07 (YPA) – The power stations in the city of Aden, south of Yemen, went out of total service on Monday, local sources said.

Public Electricity Corporation of the city reported that a defect of the Mansoura electricity and Shahnaz Station led to the outage of all the generation stations.

It affirmed that the Aden electricity service is suffering from a collapse due to the failure to maintain stations and generators, which portends a catastrophe for a citizen during the coming summer.
