SANAA, Feb. 06 (YPA) – Mayor of the Capital Sanaa, Hamoud Obbad, affirmed on Sunday the keenness of the local authority leadership to support agricultural development projects and initiatives in the various districts.
He noted this moves came in the context of the state’s directions to bring about an agricultural renaissance in order to achieve self-sufficiency.
This came during his presidency of the meeting held by the Board of Directors of the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Funding Unit in to discuss the mechanism of completing the remaining agricultural development projects.
A mechanism for implementing agricultural projects and initiatives was discussed in the meeting, which included the rehabilitation and cultivation of a number of nurseries, gardens and public parks, as well as the rehabilitation of agricultural markets and the project of fodder manufacturing and beekeeping and increase production.
