Yemen, UNOPS discuss several areas of cooperation

SANAA, Feb. 06 (YPA) – Minister of Health, Taha Al-Mutawakel, discussed on Sunday with the Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Yemen, Fayyad Rasoul, a number of areas related to enhancing cooperation in the health sector.

In the meeting, Al-Mutawakel affirmed keenness to strengthen cooperation with UNEPS, to contribute to the implementation of a number of health projects, especially in urban and rural areas.

The officials reviewed the interventions to implement projects for rehabilitation of a number of hospitals, the provision of solar energy and electric generators to health centers in the countryside, in addition to the restoration of the sanitation network in a number of Hospitals.

Meanwhile, the UNOPS’s official reviewed the most important projects that the program would support to rehabilitate a number of hospitals in the capital Sanaa and several health centers in the countryside.
