Ballistic missile strike targets coalition forces in Shabwa

SANAA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees (Sanaa forces) on Sunday targeted the Saudi-led coalition forces in Usailan district of Shabwa province with a ballistic missile.

The spokesman for the army forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, announced this afternoon that a ballistic missile strike hit a large gathering of UAE-funded forces and elements of “ISIS” in Al-Naqoub area in Usailan.

The missile attack left a large number of dead and wounded in the ranks of the coalition troops, as well as destroying and burning five military vehicles, Brig. Gen. Sarie said.

This comes less than 24 hours after a similar attack with a ballistic missile strike that targeted the coalition forces and ISIS elements in the same district, which led to the killing and wounding of more than 40 troops of the coalition, including leaders, and destroying several military vehicles.
